"The Chinese Society for the History of Science and Technology（CSHST）was founded in 1980 and located in the Institute for the History of Natural Science (IHNS), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). The CSHST is nongovernmental organization(NGO) affiliated to the China Association for Science and Technology and also a member of the International Union of the History and Philosophy of Science / Division of History of Science (IUHPS/DHS). Its purpose is to promote the development and popularization of history of science and technology."
